When you were pregnant how many baby clothes did you stock up on? I know they grow fast and out grow their clothes really fast so how much should you buy? How much 0-3 and 3-6 and 6-12?

All the baby stores I go to are outragious in some of their prices, but department stores and Walmart just don’t seem to have the variety and the really cute clothes. Where is a good store?

How do you get stains out of heirloom baby clothes. The stains are probably spit up and formula stains.?

My baby is due in June and last night I began going through my 13 year olds’ baby clothes that were spotless when I put them away 13 years ago. Unfortunately, they are now full of stains that appear to be spitup and old formula stains. I need to get these stains out and the dry cleaners will cost a fortune. I have like 20 dresses. Any ideas?

Is it absolutely necessary to wash baby clothes before they wear them?

I just got a bunch of really cute clothes for my baby shower and a lot of them say to wash before wearing. I don’t want the clothes to look old, worn , just “not new” before the baby gets to try them on. And some are knitted. Do you have to wash them? I know it’s ideal & recommended but you veteran moms out there, did you? Should I? Is there a real danger/harm in not doing it?

What do you use for stains on baby clothes that seem to work the best? Just a spray or soak?
Also, once the clothing has been washed and dried, is it too late to get the stain out?

Is it safe to wash baby clothes for the 1st time in a laundromat?

We don’t have a washer and dryer and I was going to wash the baby’s clothes (1st time wash) at a friends house. But, if I were to wash them at a laundromat, do you think that’s okay? I just don’t like the fact of all those germs on the machines that everyone uses (even though washing should kill the germs). What do you think?
